Unveiling a Contemporary Definition of OMPT

Speakers

Dr. Elaine Lonnemann
Dr. Elaine Lonnemann has dedicated over 35 years as a clinician, academician, and leader. Specializing in orthopedic manual physical therapy, she's served as a private practice owner, chief PT, and assistant director of outpatient services. Her 25-year academic career spans Associate Professorship, transitional DPT Program Directorship, and roles as Associate Dean for Health Sciences and Associate Dean of Physical Therapy. She’s served as Secretary and two terms as President in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists, and currently serves as APTA KY's Chief Delegate. At the University of St. Augustine, Elaine serves as the Executive Liaison for Community Outreach while pursuing a Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership Management.

Dr. Jason Silvernail
Dr. Jason Silvernail earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Scranton, and his Doctor of Science degree from Baylor University. He is board-certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He is also a graduate of the prestigious Army-Baylor Doctoral Fellowship in Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy at Fort Sam Houston, earning him a Fellowship in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. In the US Army he holds the rank of Colonel, has been stationed across the United States and in Europe over his 30+ year career, and has deployed to hostile fire areas in the middle east and Afghanistan.
