The Foundation for Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy (FOMPT) objectives are to:
- Advance public and professional education of orthopaedic manual physical therapy
- Support and disseminate results of scientific and clinical research related to orthopaedic manual physical therapy
- Raise awareness of best practices to enhance musculoskeletal health and prevent and treat musculoskeletal injury and disease
- Ensure the future of orthopaedic manual physical therapy, to protect the public, to maintain the highest ethical standards
- Educate the public on the benefits of orthopaedic manual physical therapy and the concerned public
