The Foundation for Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy (FOMPT) objectives are to:

  • Advance public and professional education of orthopaedic manual physical therapy
  • Support and disseminate results of scientific and clinical research related to orthopaedic manual physical therapy
  • Raise awareness of best practices to enhance musculoskeletal health and prevent and treat musculoskeletal injury and disease
  • Ensure the future of orthopaedic manual physical therapy, to protect the public, to maintain the highest ethical standards
  • Educate the public on the benefits of orthopaedic manual physical therapy and the concerned public
