AAOMPT continues to monitor the rapidly changing situation related to the spread of COVID-19. At this time, we are still planning to conduct the AAOMPT 2020 Conference, November 4-8, 2020 in Cleveland, OH as scheduled. The following precautions are being implement in light of COVID-19 concerns:

1. Limit to Hands-On sessions with pre-registration required
2. Hand sanitizing/hand washing stations available through meeting rooms by Hilton
3. Regular cleaning/disinfecting in meeting rooms by Hilton
4. Face masks available to attendees
5. Social distance seating available in meeting rooms (limited though)
6. Additional time allotted between breakout sessions to ensure adequate time to wipe down tables, enter and exit rooms, and provide an opportunity to handwash between sessions
7. Temperature checks will be taken upon check in at the conference registration desk and before entering hands on sessions
8. Live streaming of the General Session programming will be provided in the foyer area outside the main session room
9. Signage will be displayed reminding attendees of proper respiratory/cough etiquette and hand washing/sanitizing practices
10. Registration items will be provided by registrant attendant; limit exposure by other attendees
11. Sit down meal functions will have limited seating at tables
12. Food & Beverage options will follow Hilton safety guidelines
13. AAOMPT will not be providing any shared transportation options to off-venue events

Please note that AAOMPT has waived all cancellation fees if you decide to cancel the conference in light of COVID-19 concerns. Also, ANYONE that experiences symptoms of COVID-19 or is diagnosed/has been exposed to COVID-19 ahead of the conference is asked to not attend and all fees paid to AAOMPT will be refunded.

AAOMPT cannot guarantee measures taken will fully protect attendees from contracting COVID-19; therefore, anyone concerned or in the high risk category should consider joining us in future years.
