Dr. Funabashi is an Associate Professor and a clinical research scientist at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) and holds adjunct professor positions at Universities in Canada and USA. Martha has a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, a Master’s degree in Neurosciences and a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences. Martha did a post-doctoral fellowship in patient safety and was recently named the Researcher of the Year by the American Chiropractic's Association. Martha’s research interests and passion include the biomechanics, underlying mechanisms and safety of orthopedic manual therapies, with a focus on spinal manipulative therapy and spinal mobilization.
